At an unofficial get-together, many senior officers were unanimous in saying that IAS officer Tuhin Kanta Pandey, who is a 1987 batch officer, is the most occupied union Secretary nowadays. He is shouldering responsibilities of four important departments. He is working as Secretary, Department of Investment & Public Asset Management (DIPAM) while holding the additional charge of Secretary, Department of Public Enterprise (DPE). He is also Secretary, Finance (designate) and on Tuesday, he was  assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT).
